DEVORA officially launched on Thursday, 6 November 2008, in the foyer of the Volcanoes exhibit at the Auckland Museum. The University of Auckland's Dean of Science Dick Bellamy, Chief Executive of EQC David Middleton, and Chief Executive of GNS Science Alex Malahoff spoke at the event.
